Prevention & Intervention
MEG's prevention/intervention programs are based on the widely accepted prevention model and writings of Bonnie Bernard. Our programs are developed after working with focus groups and are based on current research, the objectives of our programs are:- Provide students with ongoing opportunities for meaningful participation
- Offer students a sense of purpose and future
- Instill the desire to reach high expectations
- Provide students with social competency skills
- Help students bond with the school community
- Develop problem solving skills
- Teach skills that foster resiliency
- Provide students with development assets as defined by the Ohio Department of Education
MEG's programs can be funded by a variety of resources including:
- Auxiliary Funds
- Title One Funds
- Private Grants
- Parent Organizations
